HEBREWS 11 : "BY FAITH"

The ALETHEIA, "By Faith"---Hebrews 11:1-40, is a Scripture Memory Spoken Word that dramatically delivers and displays the faithful fidelity of biblical ancients, beginning with Abel, Enoch, Noah and Abraham. It includes Moses and honors the prostitute Rahab! It fortifies facing jeers and flogging and the reality of followers of the One True God being chained and imprisoned for their faith!

"They were stoned, they were sawed in two: they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated---the world was not worthy of them."

Hebrews 11:37-38a

This ALETHEIA, "By Faith" always causes me to pause and ask myself: Is the world worthy of me? Where does my allegiance lie? And the answer that begs industrious evolvement is, "May I live, and ever more progressively learn to live, as the ancient biblical heroes of the faith, esteeming God and His ways with certainty, surety and properly directed faith in One Lord : JESUS CHRIST.

It would be my honor to pass on and deliver Hebrews 11 to you personally, or to your small group or church, for the glory and the power and the dominion of Jesus in our (may it be!) practiced and lived-out-loud faith.

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for." --- Hebrews 11:1-2

faith --- πίστις : pistis : a firm conviction and trust that holds with it active and loyal allegiance because of Divine persuasion that involves the whole person and translates to faithfulness and fidelity

hope --- ἐλπιζομένων : elpizomenō : whole-hearted anticipation, joy-filled and confident expectation of "something good that is about to happen" that overwhelms temporary or conflictual circumstance because it acts upon a present reality through faith

certain --- ὑπόστασις : hypostasis : a deeply philosophical and legal term that denotes the substance of a "title deed" and guaranteed ownership for property or a reality that is not yet possessed tangibly
